“YATI SKATES” founded by Arvind Gupta.... (Born To Skates...), done schooling and college from Mussoorie, Queen Of hills, Dehradun Uttarakhand. after masters degree in business administration worked with MNC's for a decade as an Asst. Manager(P & A). He has started skating in early eighties at the wooden rink, kulri camel’s back road, Mussoorie then spent a major part of the last three decades of his life in roller skating. Fired by the mission to his life to popularize the art of his choosing. According to him balance and speed is the main principal of skating. He added “we did not have so many facilities have today. We were not encouraged for public speaking.

“He had to work on many things himself, later in life. The stress was not there. After few years of away from skating, it was then he realized that he needed to learn all that he had missed out on and started mission… YATI SKATES…

It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that our group is the first of its kind a very enthusiastic and sincere team of international / national skaters, who have picked up the challenge to trained the children of Uttarakhand by providing them individually coaching. We provide roller skating coaching in schools, institutions, clubs, and organization. Coaching includes history and basic of roller skating techniques for race, artistic, roller hockey, roll- ball and clinics for competitions. We also organize winter / summer camps around the city for different sports like swimming, shooting, lawn tennis, karate etc. and engaged in this for last 20 years and launched our operation in dehradun one decade back. The minister of sports; Uttaranchal did the honor.

In the last years of execution, we have organized and conducted many competitions on skates such as “four Uttaranchal state roller Skating competitions, three roller skating marathons from dehradun to haridwar and in Mussoorie / Dehradun in association with Government of State. Ten U.A. invitational summer / winter camp roller skating competition,Fifteen Doon dist. Championships, doon district inter council school competitions, all india skating championships etc, the honor was done by the minister of sports and international shooter, arjun awardee Mr. Jaspal Rana and Mr. Rajiv Mehta, the president of Olympic association of Uttaranchal.

We have introduced Roller Skating in maximum schools in the town, in which some of the schools adopted skating as a subject and regular hobby.
